TITLE:                                   Parts Correspondent

LOCATION:                          Peoria, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researches, reviews and sources parts for customers, technicians and sales department.
  • Performs extensive phone contact with vendors, customers and technicians.
  • Adjust stock levels to ensure proper inventory and billing.
  • Process orders and bill parts to technician work orders.
  • Checks on backordered parts and communicates status accordingly to expedite orders.            
  • Processes customer, technician, and supplier returns.
  • Maintains contact with the public, customers, and other employees for the use of information exchange.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of computer such as keyboard, 10-key, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in customer relations via phone skills.
  • Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Ability to perform research and utilize multiple sources in order to expedite orders when part not in stock.
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply exercise sound judgment and reasoning.
  • This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Incumbent should have a minimum of 1-3 years customer service experience

TITLE:                                   Parts Picker

LOCATION:                          Peoria, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Picks parts and supplies to fulfill customer, technician, and van orders.
  • Checks supplier parts packing slips and confirms receipt of product in good condition.
  • Dates, signs, and forwards all completed packing slips to Parts Correspondent.
  • Greets, serves, and picks parts for over the counter parts pick ups. 
  • Replenishes parts carousel with stock order parts received.
  • Participates in keeping the Parts Department working area clean and safe.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
  • Will handle off loading duties for any dock deliveries for parts department or shop.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to match, sort and collate information as well as organize data.
  • Skilled in customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration.
  • Ability to effectively communicate customer issues and concerns regarding accounts to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED along with a minimum of six months practical skills experience.
  • Good people skills and verbal communication is necessary.
  • Possess basic computer familiarity and knowledge.
